In August of 2023 I presented my research paper ‘POV: Ur on TikTok; memes and the Mediatization of Teenage Culture‘ to the Media and Literacy Division at the 50th NordMedia Conference hosted at the University of Bergen.

This paper seeks to understand the ways in which teenage culture can be understood as mediatised through an analysis of the POV meme on TikTok.
